Canopy Gas Struts

Canopy gas struts are ideal for holding open entryways and tool doors, canopies in trucks and utes, they can likewise be utilized in motor homes and caravans to keep doors, panels and hatches open all well as internal furniture doors and canopies. These struts don't need to be replaced often but with wear and tear they will need replacement to maintain proper functionality. if the door or canopy starts to lose strength and start closing early it would be advised to look into a replacement strut.

If you don't have a canopy strut part number for your replacement, consider the following when replacing a gas spring:

1. The weight of the door or hatch
2. The mounting distance of the strut, roughly is 20% of the drop (Depending on application).
3. The distance needed for the door or canopy to close and halve the distance (e.g. 100mm drop requires 50mm).
